2009 Physician Compensation and Productivity Survey (17th Annual Survey Report)

The 2009 survey reports total cash compensation (TCC) levels paid to 49,981 physicians, residents, PhDs, mid-level providers, and medical group executives. The survey also reports productivity data (TCC, collections, gross patient charges, and wRVUs) as well as productivity ratios for staff physicians (TCC to collections, TCC to gross patient charges, TCC per 2007 or later wRVU, and collections per 2007 or later wRVU). The survey report includes hourly rates for staff physicians, medical directors/division chiefs, and department chairs. The 2009 survey report contains data obtained from 313 healthcare organizations comprising 190 physician, PhD, and mid-level provider (MLP) specialties as well as 7 medical group executive positions.

Information collected in our 2009 survey includes:

If a completed questionnaire is not received for the 2010 survey, your organization will be billed the remaining amount ($950). The 2010 survey questionnaire will be sent in February 2010.
