2010 Survey of Manager and Executive Compensation in Hospitals and Health Systems
SullivanCotter has launched its data collection efforts for the 2010 Survey of Manager and Executive Compensation in Hospitals and Health Systems. Last year's survey report contained data from 1,130 organizations, including 259 health systems and 871 hospitals. The survey collects base salary and total cash compensation data for over 130 system-level jobs and 140 hospital-level jobs. The survey also collects pay practice data such as:
- Salary ranges
- Salary increases
- Total compensation strategy
- Short-term incentive plans
- Long-term incentive plans
- Nonqualified deferred compensation plans
- Supplemental benefits
- Perquisites
- Severance policies
- Employment contracts
- Retention incentives

Notes: You must purchase the full hardcopy report to order the Excel data tables on CD. A $15 shipping/handling charge will be added to your invoice.

2010 Data Submission Tools
Participation in the survey is easier than ever thanks to the new online (web-based) submission tool. Interested hospitals and health systems can go to https://sullivancotter.enetrix.com to access the online survey.
Individuals that requested to participate and/or participated in the 2009 survey have been pre-registered and should refer back to the email containing their usernames/passwords.
