SullivanCotter Expansion Addresses Employer Benefit Practices
Reducing Costs and Improving Value Top Goals to Beat Recession HR Strategy
(Detroit) February 13, 2009 - Sullivan, Cotter and Associates, Inc., a leading compensation consulting firm, has announced the expansion of its services to focus on strategic benefits consulting. The firm welcomes Marc Hallee and Corey Sherman to its Chicago and Atlanta offices, respectively, to launch this business arena.
"We are pleased to welcome both Marc and Corey to the firm," notes Bill Quirk, President and Managing Director of SullivanCotter. "Both gentlemen have demonstrated in-depth expertise in HR, benefit strategy and change management. These skills are essential during a stressful economic period."
Escalating program costs and tighter budgets have many HR programs grappling with ways to reduce expense during the financial downturn. "SullivanCotter's proprietary tools align human resources and benefit strategies with our clients' business mission and culture," explained Quirk. "Using this method, companies can actively manage their internal programs to reduce cost, volatility and liability while increasing organizational effectiveness and value. Ultimately, we enhance your ability to compete for top talent."
Hallee has more than 16 years of consulting experience. He served as a senior vice president and the central region leader of benefit consulting services for one of the largest employer services firms in the United States. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bates College and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in leadership and change management, from DePaul University. Sherman has 25 years of consulting experience and prior to joining SullivanCotter he led consulting practices at three of the largest professional service firms in the nation. Mr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in communication, from Columbia University.
