Participate in Physician On-Call Pay Survey
SullivanCotter has launched the eighth annual Physician On-Call Pay Survey!
This survey details physician on-call pay for more than 40 physician and Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) specialities, and offers unparalleled, in-depth contemporary benchmarking information to hospitals, health systems and physician practices nationwide. Truly unique in its range and scope, no other survey provides comparable depth of expertise in physician on-call pay practices.

The 2011 survey report contained compensation data from more than 180 organizations representing 2,200 on-call providers. The 2012 survey covers both employed and non-employed physicians, and the collected data will be reported by:

  • Specialty
  • Type of call
    • Restricted (must remain on premises)
    • Unrestricted (must be available within a specified amount of time
  • Trauma center, non-trauma center, and Level I trauma cente
  • Trauma call versus general emergency department cal
  • Regional breakouts for combined specialty areas
  • Critical Access Hospitals


Physician specialties that will be surveyed include:

  • Anesthesiology
  • Cardiology-General and Invasive
  • General Surgery
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Neurology and Stroke Neurology
  • Neurosurgery (1st and 2nd Call)
  • Ob/Gyn (1st and 2nd Call)
  • Orthopedic Surgery-General and Hand
  • Otolaryngology
  • Plastic Surgery-General and Hand
  • Pediatric Surgery
  • Primary Care
  • Trauma Surgery
  • Urology


APC specialties that will be surveyed include:

  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Physician Assistants
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners

 

Survey Pricing:

  • Survey participants: $200
  • Non-participant health care organizations: $800
  • Non-Health Care Organizations are welcome to participate in the survey on their client's behalf; however, they are not eligible to purchase the report at the participant rate. Please contact Jill Fluto at jillfluto@sullivancotter.com for non-health care organization pricing.
     

2012 Data Submission Tools:

We are excited to announce that the 2012 survey has been moved to an online (web-based) survey submission tool! This web-based process will provide a more secure and efficient way of submitting data.

Deadline for Participation:

The deadline to participate is June 29, 2012, which will enable us to present the final results in a timely manner.
